mdmhvonpa - We normally have a pumpkin carving party of about 6 to 8 people on Halloween eve and everyone usually does two pumpkins. This year we didn’t have a party. We use specialized tools and patterns from http://www.pumpkinmasters.com.

Very nice pumpkins! I love the ship pumpkin, but I’m biased as I love old ships anyway. The others look great; I saw the pattern for the one on the left Wednesday night as my daughter helped my friend’s daughters carve their pumpkins. The patterns for them these days sure are incredible; not like the boring ol’ Jack O’Lanterns of my youth!
