On issues I face in my job:
Lack of understanding with respect to my role and abilities. Using incorrect terminology implies a simplified role.* Because most people don�t have an understanding of how the construction, publishing and maintenance of a website is achieved, they tend to believe complex things can happen overnight. Since I cannot be a subject matter expert in every area, I rely on the individual requesting the work to contribute the content (text and images) required for producing the pages. People are occasionally surprised that I would not simply produce this content for them. Also, that anything web-related must be my job.
* This drives me nuts! Some folks in my office constantly refer to our entire site as “the web page.”

One more reason why I lack the ability to function well as a bureaucratic employee.
I admire those who have the composure to handle it.
I cannot.
