Happy (Belated) Thanksgiving

I hope you all had a nice holiday and a relaxing weekend.

Mel worked on Thursday so the Bombed Empress and I went to see Love Actually (cute) and then had Indian food for dinner. Choices were limited, as the Indian restaurant was the only place open in the area. But it was good and I suspect we could make a tradition of it since Mel usually works on Thanksgiving.

On Friday, Mel and I cooked our Thanksgiving dinner consisting of a turkey breast, cornbread stuffing, onion pudding, mashed potatoes, peas, gravy and cranberry jelly in the shape of a can (very important!). Oh, and a homemade blueberry pie. Mmmm… we stuffed ourselves silly and then proceeded to do some serious couch lounging.

Other than non-stop eating, I visited my aunt in Michigan last weekend, went to chorus practice, and have been playing with my new toy. Hmmm… perhaps I’ll try moblogging.

Back to the grind tomorrow. But only for two weeks because, once again, I seem to have accumulated a lot of unused vacation time. I’ll be having the last two weeks of the year off for the third year in a row.

I have much to be thankful for!
